How DeviceCheck handles your data: every tester runs entirely in your browser, nothing you press or touch is sent anywhere, and we set no cookies.

The short version

Every tool on this site runs inside your web browser. The text you paste, the keys you press, the files you open, and the numbers you enter are processed on your own device and are never sent to our servers. We have no user accounts and no database of user content.

What we do collect

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and capacity planning and are retained by the host for a limited period.

Advertising

To keep the tools free we may show advertisements served by third-party ad networks such as Google AdSense. These networks may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings and from many other networks at aboutads.info. Visitors in the EU, UK, and certain US states will see a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set.
